Family rant + Other stuff
February 23, 2008
Because I don’t really know a suitable title for this… Aha… ^_^;
Been a while since I wrote anything at my blog. Sorry, but… No funny stuff today. Instead, I am just going to talk about something important now, which is… well, family. Yeah, a topic which is talked alot lately, mostly by people around the young adult and teenager stage, but ovarall, it’s being talked about everyday.
Every family has their own problems. I find it very hard to see that there’s a family without family problems. If your family doesn’t have any problems, then glad to see that you all that have a very peaceful life then. What I meant by problems are things like money, children, and things like that. And this would result in mostly your parents quarelling with each other, plans to divorce, and such things like that.
I know most people who complain about your parents as well, such as not understanding them, still treating you like a baby, scolding you, and stuff like that. True, when your parents don’t scold you, you feel happy about it, right? I mean, who likes to be scolded by their parents? I can’t imagine anyone laughing after being scolded, really.
But I’ll tell you something. No matter how much your parents scold you, or threaten you, they still love you, no matter what happens. When there’s hard times, in the end, your parents will stick together. There will be good times and bad times that you all would endure. Parents still love their children (Unless something really, really, really bad happens, which I won’t mention.) and would stay that way, really.
In fact, you should really appreciate what they have done to you, and let you use the computer to read this post or something. Life isn’t like a fairy tale, which doesn’t really end in a ‘happy ever after’, I know. Your loved ones will die one day, and you will feel very sad, and painful. It hurts, trust me.
Tired of your parents treating you like a baby? They’re not trying to embarass you, they love you. Of course, I was quite annoyed when my mother was usually..
“No matter what you 10 years old, 20 years old, 40 years old, 60 years old, we still treat you like small baby!”
“Maaaaa! Don’t want!”
… Now I understand why.
In fact, we should also be thanking our parents too to actually live in a house, not in a straw hut or something, where there’s no fan or nothing to shield from the sunlight besides cardboard like other people. Believe me, there are others who do not know what is it like to have parent care, like those at the orphanage.
Be happy with what you have right now. Appreciate, alright? I know sometimes your family can be a pain, like your brother or sister bothering out of you, but try to… you know, support each other through troubles, point out their mistakes, and such.
Precious the moment of the time you have now.

In other news, I finally finished my CLANNAD skin, and it’s doing okay so far. Sis Del said that the skin is quite godly for the first time… Ahh, I really wonder if it’s that good. XD
And whole online family rox at RO. They seriously pwn. =o= I plan to make an RO fic about them one day, if I have the time, or they let me use them, lol.

I know, Mei. I think we all know that in a way. Some of us are just stubborn and would be angry if you actually tried to lecture them this way, so be careful. But for the most part, it’s a very true statement. Some people are just too closed-minded to even see the truth, which is quite sad. However, we don’t need to look at others, we mostly need to look at ourselves. We just have to keep doing our best and make the best out of all the gifts given to us. Prayer does miracles, I believe in it, because it happened to be all the time. Mei, I hope that you’d keep doing your best like this. I always admired this part of you.
Good luck in everything. And yes, I think your RO skin is cute. XD I love the colors and all the elements, very refreshing and calm. Thanks for sharing it to us. =)
Our online family is great as well, isn’t it? I keep saying it, but I’ll say it again, we’ll always be here for you, Mei.

Very well said, Mei. Very well said. I believe that everything that happens has a reason, and that includes whatever baby-ing or scolding your parents do. The actions they do may be unreasonable to you at times, but try understanding them, even if it’s usually hard. Easier said than done, yes, but at least make an effort. Eventually, you’ll get used to accepting your parents the way they are. *smiles*
And RO… I so wish I could play already. Too much college for me, I guess, hahaha.
Oh, and hello. Lol, you might be wondering why I commented, but I only read your blog today. I will try to drop by from time to time with comments, if that’s all right with you.

@ Del: Ahh, thank you. I’m aware that some people would be angry, really. But it’s better than not saying anything at all. ._.; But yeah, we should mostly look at ourselves.
